Entrepreneur | Bitcoin Pioneer | Infrastructure Builder
Mason Jappa has spent over a decade building infrastructure others weren't ready to believe in yet. He founded Blockware Solutions in 2017, scaled it past $500 million in revenue, and is now leading Compute USA toward a $1 billion contracted pipeline. His career runs on one conviction: the biggest opportunities live where real demand meets fragmented supply.

From Bitcoin Mining to a Billion-Dollar Pipeline
Jappa founded Blockware Solutions after spotting a gap nobody was filling well: Bitcoin miners needed a trusted, institutional-grade partner for hardware sourcing and hosting. Under his leadership, Blockware became the first Bitcoin mining firm to earn clearing privileges at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, deployed over 400,000 ASIC machines representing roughly 15% of global Bitcoin hashrate, and was ultimately sold to NASDAQ-listed RIOT for more than $100 million in 2024.
That track record carried directly into Compute USA. Within its first month, the company hit $250 million in server revenue bookings and built a $1 billion-plus contracted pipeline. Mason Jappa saw what others missed: the AI compute market isn't a hardware sales problem. It's a financial infrastructure problem. That reframe is what separates Compute USA from every legacy reseller and slow-moving hyperscaler in the space.
Conviction First. Consensus Can Wait.
Jappa's leadership philosophy is built on three principles he's tested across full market cycles. First: conviction over consensus. Every company he's built has operated in a space the mainstream wasn't ready for yet. Bitcoin mining in 2017. Sovereign AI infrastructure today. Waiting for broad agreement means the opportunity is already gone. He moves early, then builds the credibility to back the bet up.
The second principle is that storytelling is as important as operations. Jappa authored research reports that reached over a million readers and earned coverage in Bloomberg, Forbes, and CoinDesk. At Blockware and now at Compute USA, that ability to communicate a clear vision to investors and partners has driven real revenue. The third principle is simple: hire for durability, not just for the bull market. Teams that can execute through down cycles are the ones that build something lasting.
